Hardwood Floors Installer November 25, 2008 Sang I. Ra (Maryland) This compressor is a work horse. Gives you the continous power when you need it. The ony problem is the cold start ups but i'm sure all compressors have that problem.
Compact and does the job September 27, 2008 Tyler J. Schnuckel 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was nervous about ordering this product because of the shipping problems. I received mine and there wasn't a scratch or any problem. After adding the oil and running the break-in time, my compressor works great. Maintains a nice pressure cuts in and out at a normal rate. Noise isn't unbearable. It does make noise but they all do. I was able to have fairly normal conversation while it was running. The pressure release valve is a bit hard to reach, but that is easily fixed with a short bit string tied to the ring and tied to the handle. Now I just grab the string to release the pressure. At 65lbs it does take a bit of muscle, but it is compact enough that it doesn't feel clumsy. The weight is nicely balanced.
Heavy - But heavy duty February 29, 2008 S. Benefield (Ada, OK United States) I'm getting older and starting to appreciate thoughtful ergonomics. This compressor is not very ergonomic. It is heavy and clumsy. Instead of lugging it around and possibly straining my joints I use a dolly. No convenient way to store power cord or hose. The good news is that it doesn't require an extra heavy duty extension cord like many current compressors. A common 12 gauge extension cord is sufficient to start-up and run. I got this for the outstanding price of $175 with free shipping from Amazon. At this price it is hard to find much serious fault. Keep an eye out for these bargains, they do come along every now and then but don't last long. Thanks Amazon.
Built For the Professional July 10, 2007 N. Viscio 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Had a large crew of people over at the house to re-do the roof (~15 square). We had two roofing nailers going along with a 3" nail gun (for the sheathing) (obviously we split one of the lines to feed two guns). This compressor had no problem keeping up. The cycle time of this compressor is great. I'm still stuck on the oiled compressor theory, which this has. Another benefit to this design is the fact that the regulator/quick connects are tucked away between the tanks. If you happen to drop this compressor (I haven't yet), everything is protected. I was able to run this off of a 15A circuit no problem. A little heavy, yes, but built for the professional.
THE BEST EVER June 10, 2007 Tradeand5 (Planet Z) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I work in the painting industry and I mainly use this compressor anywhere I go to texture paint the house. It is easy to carry around, and has two safety air cooling system to prevent over heating. It is so powerful and durable. I would not ask for anything else, but this. I also use it around the house while I am not on the job for all my air needs from inflating tire, exercise ball, air bed, blowing and cleaning, etc, etc......This is all I needed.
