I used this compressor to spray my truck.i have to say i was impressed! it's rugged and not as noisy as i thought and read it would be.
it will be great for my airbrush hobby now the truck is done!

I just purchased this compressor as my first compressor. I am very pleased with it's performance and was pleasantly surprised by the noise level. I expected it to be much louder than it is. I can carry on a conversation with my wife without screaming while she is about 10 feet away.
As far as capabilities, I find the compressor can pressurize to about 120 lbs in 2 or 3 minutes. Shot maybe 30 brad nails without unit kicking on to repressurize.
The main reason it was purchased was for a project we were working on to (initially) install about 20 linear ft of quarter round molding. Using the Hitachi brad nailer ( Hitachi NT50AE2 18-Gauge 3/4-Inch to 2-Inch Brad Nailer ) we purchased with the compressor, the entire job took us less time than it would have to drive two wire nails by hand.
The one thing to be aware of when you purchase this unit is that it is NOT a kit, and you will need to buy everything, including air hose, separately. I caught this in my research but it would be easy to miss that the unit doesn't include hose.
Overall, I would gladly recommend this unit.

I bought this compressor in January 2009 to use with a Milwaukee brad nailer (installing crown moulding in my home). This is an excellent piece of equipment. Highly recommended.

I bought this since my wife loves pancakes but hates the oil! It took me a while to find where to put the batter and when I plugged it in it made some kind os sick gargaling sound and no pancakes came out! So I tried to send it back and they wouldn't take it back! They said that I ruined it!!
The moral of the story is if it is too good to be true then it probably is. If your gonna eat pancakes there is going to be some oil.

i replaced my old 4 gallon emglo for this hitachi hopeing it would keep up with all my air needs and i was plesantly surprised. i wouldnt recommend it for anything that requires constant air like and air chissel of impact gun, but for a one man general contractor. or handy man its a good solid choice. \
