Kipor Sinemaster digital inverter generators have a built-in computer monitoring the voltage and load constantly. They are a type of "Smart Generator". The voltage is constantly adjusted to maintain 120V by the computer inverter module. Kipor can automatically regulate the engine speed according to the load, so the fuel consumption of digital generator sets is 20%-40% lower than traditional sets, so the running time is therefore much longer as well. The noise level is further reduced at lower running speeds. Sinemaster digital inverter generators have a new two-tiered noise dampening system, so the noise emitted by these generators is 6-9 dB less than traditional generators. This translates to 4 to 8 times quieter than conventional generators. 2 years warranty, we have a repair center and stock most of the parts.

Worth the cost July 6, 2010 Stevenan This generator is worth the money. The savings alone on average of $700 and noise level difference between this and Hondas newer 3000 generator makes this a bargin if your an avid camper.. Only drawback is it didn't come with a manual/instructions. I had to go to Kipor web site to download it.
Chinese junk April 21, 2010 M. Scott (Bakersfield, CA) 3 out of 7 found this review helpful
I wish I would have known before I bought it. You get what you pay for, and this seemed like a real bargain. You would think a 3000 watt generator for $800 would be a piece of junk. Well you would be right. The sales literature says it is one of the best selling generators in Europe. Of course the Yugo was a great seller there too. I didn't know it was Chinese when I bought it. That might explain the quality. It won't power a small microwave in a truck camper. It will actually start and run about 10% of the time. I've had the carburator apart many times to get it working again... for a short time. Now it seems to be an electrical problem. Of course no one in my city of 500,000 population will work on it. Most local generator companies haven't even heard of it. Want to save a few dollars? Buy a Honda or a Yamaha and save by having a quality machine that will last a lot longer.
LOVE our Kipor IG3000 April 8, 2010 Toby D. Ray (Utah, U.S.A.) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
What else can I say that hasn't been said in the other reviews here. This generator's quality, craftmanship, performance is A-1 excellent. Ours is 2 1/2 years old, I've changed the oil to synthetic and it runs just like the 1st day we got it. We use it on our T@B trailer that has a 10,000 btu A/C, which it runs easily. Quiet is an understatement on this unit. I believe it is rated at 64db. Walk 30 feet away from a campsite, you have to stop and listen intently to hear it. It performs just like the Honda EU3000, at a much lower inital cost. At 132 lbs, it's not "light", but I can pick it up and load it into my Ford Ranger 4X4 myself. Excellent purchase, would buy any of Kipor's products if they are all of this quality.

LOOK NO FURTHER March 14, 2010 William S. Springer 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
RECIVED ITEM PROMPTLY,SLIGHT DAMAGE TO BOX, HOWEVER THE INSIDE PACKAGEING IS EXCELANT,AFTER MINOR ASSEMBLY,I ADDED THE 20 oz. OIL, GAS AND IT STARTED IMMEDIATELY IT PURRS AT IDLE,AT FULL SPEED IT IS ONLY SLIGHTLY LOUDER, I GOT THIS TO OPERATE MY A/C ON MY CAMP TRAILER,THE INSTRUCTIONS CALL FOR FULL SPEED TO OPERATE AN A/C BUT THIS GENERAT0R WORKED IT EFFORTLESSLY ON IDLE. IT IS A VERY HIGH QUALITY UNIT,THE SIZE IS COMPACT ENOUGH, I WOULD SAY THE ONLY CONCERN YOU MIGHT HAVE IS THE WEIGHT. IT IS A LITTLE HEAVY FOR ONE PERSON TO LIFT, BUT TWO PEOPLE CAN EASLY LOAD IT INTO THE BACK OF A PKUP. ON THE GROUND ON A SMOOTH SERFACE IE; CONCRETE-ASPHALT-ECT IT MOVES EASYLY ENOUGH A CHILD CAN ROLL IT ALONG THIS IS IDENTICAL IN QUALITY TO SIMMILAR UNITS THAT COST TWICE AS MUCH YOU WILL NOT BE DISSIPONTED.ALSO ORDER THE COVER,IT IS EXCELLANT AND DIRT CHEAP FOR THE PROTECTION IT PROVIDES.
More than I hoped for! February 27, 2010 G Pyro (MI USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Mine's 3 years old.
Has electric start and starts right up.
We use it to power our travel trailer in rustic areas where we are usually surrounded by tent campers, (the camp sites are spread out). If you walk away from our camp site you cannot hear it. We have often had people remark they didn't know we had a generator until they saw the lights on.
I leave it on low idle and the thing only idles up when we use the microwave. We rarely run the AC, 13,500 BTU, but it runs it no problem. It's best to turn the "eco-idle" off before turning the AC on, as it struggles to start if the generator is set on low idle. An electric heater will idle it up.
I love the dependabilty. I can enjoy my comforts and still respect the wishes of others to enjoy the QUIET.
My brother-in-law has the Honda and they are very similar, though the Honda can get a remote start. And thieves target red and blue generators.
I have known of these things to fetch close to full price when sold used so you've got nothing to lose!
